Dear Residents,

Given the evolving situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we need to be aware but not alarmed. Our priority is the health & wellbeing of our employees, contractors and residents. There are certain things that we can all do to help manage and contain the spread of COVID-19, such as follows:

  • Wash your hands frequently including before and after eating, and after going to the bathroom
  • Covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing
  • Avoiding contact and maintaining a social distance of more than 1.5m
  • Practice respiratory hygiene
  • Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider

If you have cold and flu symptoms, please refrain from using recreational facilities like the swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, BBQ’s and common room areas.

If you present with any of the symptoms noted below, please seek advice from a health care practitioner. The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

We encourage everyone to exercise the precautions needed to minimise the risk of Coronavirus and ask that residents remain calm. If we follow protocols within our community living environments, we can help increase levels of safety and health.

None of our staff have been to any of the affected countries or have knowingly been in direct contact with persons returning from affected countries.

Please don’t be offended if you see our staff maintaining distance as this behavior is for the health & safety of all.

Operational Health and Safety:

Every day we are following strict cleaning, quality control and hygiene procedures. We’ve increased the cleaning and sanitising of contact surfaces including benchtops, handrails, light switches and door handles.

Contactless Service:

In the current circumstances we understand many residents will want to limit the amount of time they come into contact with others and we have implemented changes to assist.

For the short term we’re introducing contactless fob and access card purchase. Please log a support request through our website of your requirement and we will contact you to organise ID verification and payment via EFT, we will then deliver your purchase to your letterbox within 48 hours (pending payment).

Likewise, if you have an issue with the operation of your fob or access card, in most instances this can be resolved without the resident attending our office, please log a request through our website for assistance.

Social Distancing Actions:

  • Our staff are no longer available for face-to-face meetings onsite or in our office, we are still here to assist please log a request via our website or contact us via phone
  • If you are unwell, please stay at home and do not interact with others in the community
  • Do not shake hands and reduce physical contact where possible
  • Limit group gatherings

Future Planning:

We are working with the body corporate’s as required and should changes or restrictions be deemed necessary within communal spaces in the community, we will update residents accordingly. Future planning will include advice from the government and relevant health departments.

For ease of reference future Coronavirus updates will be communicated via our Facebook page and the ‘News’ section on our website.
